Materials Needed

  • 24" grapevine wreath
  • faux flocked evergreen branches
  • faux berry picks
  • 12 mini bottles (6 of each spirit)
  • baker's twine
  • hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • heavy-duty scissors or wire cutters
  • coordinating ribbon

Prep Greenery

Using heavy-duty scissors or wire cutters, prep faux greenery by cutting stems into small sections.

Add Flocked Greenery

Add hot glue to the greenery's cut ends (Image 1), then insert into the outer edge of the wreath, pushing the branch's end securely into the grapevine's twists. Continue adding greenery around both sides of the wreath (with the greenery all pointing up, instead of clockwise) leaving an empty area at the top of the wreath for ribbon.

Add Berries

Add hot glue to each berry picks' end, then slide into the wreath form, overlapping each flocked greenery bunch — but, still keeping the faux greenery toward the outer edges of the wreath.

Prep Mini Bottles

Use hot glue to attach the end of the baker's twine, then wrap the twine around the neck of each mini bottle (Image 1), add more hot glue to secure the last round of wrap (Image 2). Cut off the excess, leaving a 10"-12" end that you'll use later to secure the bottles to the wreath (Image 3).

Attach Bottles to Wreath

First, determine bottles' placement, then add an approximately 10" section of baker's twine to the wreath, knotting it around the grapevine, where you plan to attach the neck of each bottle (Image 1). Place a bottle on top of the twine and securely knot (Image 2). Tip: Use the long twine end you left on each bottle's neck to also secure the bottle to the wreath. For heavier bottles, sliding one end into the wreath's grapevine twists can also be handy (Image 3).

Create an Interesting Pattern

Add visual interest by varying the mini bottles' colors, shapes and orientation (Images 1-3).

Add Ribbon to Top

Create a colorful wrap around the top of your wreath by first hot-gluing wide striped ribbon around the top of the wreath (Images 1 and 2). Then, top with a smaller ribbon bow.

Fill In With More Berries

Once all the bottles are in place, fill in visual gaps, including the wreath's bottom, with more berry picks.
