'Home Town' Update: HGTV Announces Season 8 and More

We have good news for Home Town fans who love watching Erin and Ben Napier bring new life to outdated homes in Laurel, Mississippi. While we await the Season 7 premiere, the crafty husband-and-wife hosts are gearing up to film more episodes. HGTV confirmed a Home Town Season 8 today in a joint Instagram post with the couple — and everyone is excited.

The Napiers have been busy in the last year. While raising kids, filming Home Town episodes and starring in HGTV holiday films, they purchased and renovated (to English-farmhouse perfection) a country home featured on the cover of Southern Living's November 2022 issue. Four months later, Erin launched a peel-and-stick wallpaper collection with York Wallcoverings. And come October 3, her newest book Heirloom Rooms (which celebrates the "imperfection of our houses," according to Erin) will become available in stores everywhere.

All this to say, Erin and Ben are surely inspired from all their latest endeavors — so we predict Season 8 will be the best one yet.
